Kha’s collective painting series, SUPPRESSION AND RELEASE, captures the ebb and flow of nuanced influences drawn from eastern and western landscapes which are emulsified into poured drippings and abstracted gestures of paint. Her works are a cathartic release, allowing the tension and colours of poured acrylic paint to narrate its own interpretation of an emotional landscape.
