Huy Lim Kha is an interdisciplinary Australian artist with aphantasia who archives memory and complex inner worlds through painting.

Her works are recognisable by their emotional heartbeats as her artistic style evolves with every brush stroke. Her practice combines intuition and feeling with academic and technical understanding of colour and light.

She paints various subjects: suburbia, flora, landscapes and portraiture and uses memorialisation to share narrative stories of the diaspora of her post-migrant, Cambodian-Chinese heritage.
